A Wedding Rooted in Tradition at Bridlewoods Event Center in Chilliwack

A heartfelt Bridlewoods Event Center celebration in Chilliwack, BC featuring intimate moments, meaningful traditions, and natural wedding photography.

Some wedding days ask you to slow down, listen closely, and witness something far deeper than a timeline or a shot list. This wedding at Bridlewoods Event Center in Chilliwack, British Columbia was one of those days.

Set against the quiet beauty of the Fraser Valley, Bridlewoods offers a setting that feels grounded and expansive all at once. Open fields, tall trees, and soft spring light created space for a day rooted in intention, presence, and connection.

Bride and groom posing for portraits in the forested area of Bridlewoods Wedding Venue in Chilliwack BC.

The Quiet Before the Ceremony

The hours leading up to the ceremony often hold some of the most tender moments of the day. The steady rhythm of getting ready, hands helping with final details, and the quiet anticipation that settles in before everything begins.

At Bridlewoods Event Center, there was space for these moments to unfold without rush for the bride. The small moments of connection grounded the day before it fully arrived. This time spent with your people are the are the moments that set the tone for the day, allowing everyone to arrive at the ceremony present and ready.

As a Chilliwack wedding photographer, I’m always drawn to this part of the day. It’s where nerves soften, emotions surface, and the story begins long before anyone walks down the aisle.

A Ceremony Rooted in Tradition and Presence

The ceremony was traditional, deeply intentional and moving to witness. The couple gently placed goose down gently on each other’s heads, followed by a blanket ceremony.

Everything unfolded with calm and care. There was no rush, no performance, only presence. It was one of those ceremonies that asks you to be fully there, to listen, and to bear witness on a love that is so intentional.

A Quiet Moment with the Land

After the ceremony, the bride stepped outside into the surrounding trees. She gathered a piece of cedar and gently brushed it over herself and her wedding dress. It was a quiet, grounding moment that felt deeply personal and connected to the land.

These are the moments that don’t need direction. They don’t need explanation. They simply ask to be honoured exactly as they are.

Portraits Among Bridlewood’s Grounds

After the ceremony, the couple stepped into a quieter part of the day, leaving space to just be together with their two favourite people. The golden afternoon light wrapped around them, softening edges and illuminating the laughter and tenderness between them. Every glance, every shared smile, felt like a story unfolding just for them. It’s in these portraits that the essence of the couple, their connections, and their love truly shines through.

Words That Filled the Room

During the reception the room shifted into a new energy, one filled with laughter, tears, and heartfelt words. Friends and family rose to share their stories, their hopes, and their love for the couple. Each speech painted a deeper picture of the journey that led them here, a mosaic of memories and shared connections that made the day even more meaningful.

Even as the room responded with soft laughter, and applause, the couple remained anchored in each other’s gaze, soaking in the love that surrounded them. These speeches weren’t just words; they were moments of affirmation, joy, and reflection — moments that would stay with everyone long after the music faded.

These moments were a reminder that weddings aren’t just about the couple alone — they are about the community that lifts them, the people who have witnessed their story, and the lives they’ve touched along the way.

Dancing Through the Unexpected: A First Dance to Remember

As the evening unfolded, the power unexpectedly went out. The room went dark, but through the large windows, soft natural light spilled in, illuminating the couple as they stepped onto the dance floor for their first dance. The DJ’s computer quietly kept the music playing, and for a moment, the celebration felt stripped down to its purest form: love, presence, and joy.

With fewer guests remaining nearby, the moment became even more intimate. Every smile, laugh, and glance was magnified, making the first dance feel like it belonged solely to them. The absence of electricity didn’t diminish the magic, if anything, it made it more memorable. It was a beautiful reminder that weddings aren’t about perfection, they’re about the people, the connection, and the love that surrounds the couple.

Even in unexpected moments, the day moved forward with joy, laughter, and authentic memories that will last a lifetime. For a photographer, these are the moments that truly capture the heart of a wedding — real, unscripted, and unforgettable.

A Personal Moment of Witnessing

This day also held a personal resonance for me. I have known the groom since high school, and watching him step into a life with someone who so clearly sees him, loves him, and stands beside him was deeply moving. It was one of those moments where time softens, and you quietly witness someone arriving exactly where they are meant to be. As a wedding photographer, these are the moments that stay with me long after the day ends, this day however, was extra meaningful..

A Wedding Day to Remember

Weddings aren’t just about the perfect moments captured; they’re about the real, raw, and meaningful experiences shared between the couple and the people who love them. This Bridlewoods wedding was a perfect example of that, a day where nature, tradition, and authenticity came together to create memories that will last a lifetime.

If you’re planning a wedding at Bridlewoods Event Center or anywhere in the Fraser Valley, and you want your day captured with attention to detail, emotion, and authenticity, I would love to hear from you.

Let's make your story unforgettable!

Getting Ready at Fraser River Lodge

Alex and Nadia’s June wedding was as unique as the couple themselves, complete with an epic windstorm, moody overcast skies, and their two adorable dachshunds. As the wind whipped through the valley, it added a dramatic flair to the day, ruffling hair and dresses, sweeping through the wildflower fields, and creating a cinematic atmosphere that made every photo feel alive. The Fraser River Lodge, nestled against the stunning backdrop of the mountains and the river, was the perfect stage for this one of a kind celebration.

The morning began with quiet excitement as the bride and groom prepared for their day surrounded by close family and friends. Sunlight poured through the lodge windows, highlighting the soft laughter, gentle hugs, and the anticipation of the moments ahead. These early hours are some of my favourite to capture, the small gestures, the joyful nerves, and the tender connections that set the tone for the rest of the day.

A Heartfelt Celebration Surrounded by Loved Ones

Surrounded by friends and family who had traveled from near and far, this wedding was a true celebration of love and togetherness. Despite the unpredictable June weather, the warmth and joy shared by everyone kept the spirit of the day glowing. It was a beautiful reminder that, even in the face of life’s unpredictability, love always finds a way to shine.

The ceremony was beautifully officiated by Kristen, whose calm presence and thoughtful words made the moment feel deeply personal and meaningful. Kristen is a Fraser Valley-based wedding officiant who creates heartfelt, intentional ceremonies, you can learn more about her work on her website here: Meet Kristen.

Dramatic Weather, Dreamy Wedding Photography

The day featured a wild windstorm and moody overcast skies, creating a cinematic atmosphere for the wedding. Hair and dresses whipped in the breeze, the wind swept through vibrant wildflower fields, and every photo felt alive with movement and emotion. As a Fraser Valley wedding photographer, these are the moments I live for, capturing raw, authentic connections amidst nature’s splendor.

Couple and Wedding Party Portraits at Fraser River Lodge

After the ceremony, we explored the property to capture intimate couple portraits and fun wedding party shots. The diffused light from the overcast skies highlighted the colors of the surroundings while keeping the images soft, romantic, and timeless. Chilliwack Wedding Photographer | Matt and Sydnee’s Celebration at Chilliwack Golf Club

Not gonna lie, it’s been a while since I’ve completely sobbed at a wedding. Sure, I’ve shed a few tears here and there, but Matt and Sydnee’s intimate family wedding at Chilliwack Golf Club had me tearing up right alongside them. This wasn’t just any wedding—it was a heartfelt celebration filled with love, laughter, and the most touching moments that left not a dry eye in the room (including mine!).

A Heartfelt First Look in Abbotsford, BC

The day started in the serene woods of Abbotsford, BC, where Matt and Sydnee shared their First Look and then their wedding portraits. This private moment set the tone for the day—a blend of deep love and pure joy. We also captured some quick wedding party photos with their closest family members and two best friends. This group, whom I’ve lovingly dubbed “their forever bubble,” radiated love and support.

Intimate Wedding Ceremony at Chilliwack Golf Club

Afterward, we made our way to the Chilliwack Golf Club, a premier wedding venue in the Fraser Valley and home to the stunning Canex Pavilion. Known as one of the most spectacular outdoor wedding and banquet centers in the region, the venue provided the perfect backdrop for their intimate ceremony and celebration.

A Creative Car Parade of Love

Despite having to pare down their guest list due to current restrictions, Matt and Sydnee’s friends didn’t let that stop them from celebrating. A surprise car parade through the Golf Course brought laughter and heartfelt congratulations, reminding everyone just how much these two are adored.

Emotional Wedding Speeches That Left Everyone in Tears

As the day transitioned into heartfelt speeches, the emotions overflowed. Family members shared stories of Matt and Sydnee’s love, resilience, and the ways they’ve impacted those around them. I managed to keep it together through the first few speeches, but when the floodgates of emotion opened, the entire room became a beautiful, teary-eyed mess. Matt & Sydnee- you are loved. Truly and completely, not only by each other, but by each and everyone one of the people you choose to have a part of your lives. Matt and Sydnee I am truly honoured that you trusted me to capture your love on this first day together as each others forever’s. The love surrounding these two was palpable, reminding everyone what weddings are truly about: connection, community, and an unwavering commitment to each other.

Shelby's Pond Wedding| Chilliwack Wedding Photographer

Shelby’s Pond is located within the farmlands of Chilliwack, BC. This quaint farm property specializes in hosting country style wedding ceremonies and receptions. The gorgeous backdrop of mountains and fields is the perfect spot to say your vows during an outdoor ceremony and then with the large open red barn to host your closest 100-150 friends and loved ones for your indoor/outdoor wedding reception. The venue is known for its picturesque setting, surrounded by nature and featuring a tranquil pond. The outdoor location is ideal for those seeking a rustic and natural setting for their wedding.

I met up with Shawn and Des just before their wedding ceremony so they could spend some time together for their first look and couple portraits before heading to Shelby’s Pond for their outdoor wedding ceremony and reception with their loved ones. My absolute favourite part of the day was watching how their pups Louis and Winston were included in all parts of their wedding day, they truly were, the most well behaved pups at a wedding ever!

Including your dogs in your wedding can be a fun and memorable way to celebrate your special day. Here are some ideas on how to include your dogs in your wedding:
Ring Bearer: You can train your dog to carry the rings down the aisle in a special pouch or box. This can be a cute and unique way to include your dog in the ceremony.

  1. Walk Down the Aisle: You can also have your dog walk down the aisle with you, perhaps with a special leash or collar that matches your wedding colors.

  2. Wedding Attire: Dress your dog up in a cute outfit or matching wedding attire that complements your own wedding outfits. Make sure the outfit is comfortable for your dog and does not restrict their movement or breathing.

  3. Photos: Including your dog in your wedding photos can be a fun way to capture memories of your furry friend being a part of your special day. Consider including them in the bridal party photos or taking photos with just you and your dog.

  4. Dog-Friendly Venue: If you are having an outdoor wedding or reception, consider choosing a dog-friendly venue that allows dogs on the premises. This way, your dog can be a part of the celebration and enjoy the festivities with you.

  5. Dog-Sitter: It's important to assign someone to be responsible for your dog during the wedding day, to make sure they are comfortable, have enough water and food, and are not a distraction during the ceremony. Consider hiring a professional dog-sitter or assigning a friend or family member to look after your furry friend.

Overall, including your dogs in your wedding can be a fun and meaningful way to celebrate your special day. With a little bit of planning and preparation, you can make sure that your furry friend feels loved and included in your wedding day just like Shawn and Des did!

Rainy Backyard Wedding in Anmore, BC | Chilliwack Wedding Photographer

Never once did they let the rain damper their spirits, they are so in love and there was no way a little bit, ok it was a LOT, of rain was going to get in the way of them having the most magical backyard wedding.

When you live in the Pacific Northwest aka the Fraser Valley and the weather forecast predicts not just rain but an atmospheric river on your wedding day you learn to laugh, and to keep smiling no matter how wet you are. Often as a wedding photographer we know that the weather can change at a moments notice and Brianna and Ante’s February wedding day was no different. Overnight the 1-3mm mm of rain switched to 25-30 mm of rain and I knew it was going to be a wet one.

I think my favorite part of their wedding day was that never once did they let the rain damper their spirits, they are so in love and there was no way a little bit, ok it was a LOT, of rain was going to get in the way of them having the most magical backyard wedding.

If your wedding day is calling for rain here in the Pacific Northwest here are a few tips I recommend as a photographer that has had my fair share of rainy weddings… did I mention my first 5 weddings this past year were all in the torrential rain!

surviving your rainy day wedding forecast

Tip number 1

Make sure your wedding venue has a back up rain plan! Weather is unpredictable, especially here in the Fraser Valley. The best way to handle the unpredictability is to ensure you know what your venue’s back up plan is so there is no surprises. If you do not have a back up plan, such as a clear or white tent that your ceremony can be moved to, ensure you have enough umbrella’s to go around in the chance that the skies open up right as your ceremony starts.

tip number 2

Clear Umbrella’s are your new bestfriend! I personally own a fleet of 15 that live in my car all year round much to my families eye rolling. Clear umbrellas are the best option as they look cohesive and still let in a lot of natural light to allow for the best lighting during portraits. It also doesn’t ruin your carefully planned out colour palate of your wedding day. Local dollar stores carry them for around $8 each but even better just stalk Facebook Market Place- there is always at least a handful of brides offloading the fleet they purchased for their wedding day!

tip number 3

Make sure to have things on hand to keep everyone warm and dry. Things such as extra blankets for your guests to stay warm are such a nice added touch. Other things to think about are towels- especially important to wipe off the chairs if it starts to rain just as your ceremony is about to begin.

TIP NUMBER 4

Bring a change of shoes to wear during Wedding portraits. There is nothing worse than wearing wet shoes for the rest of your wedding day and your reception, this is for your partner as well! Packing a spare set of shoes for outdoor portraits ensures your 'fancy’ weddings shoes stay dry for the rest of your day. As a photographer I always make sure there is at least two changes of shoes in my trunk, and a complete change of clothes as I have gotten that wet at weddings before!

tip number 4

Have fun! Let go of all your preconceived ideas of what your wedding day is supposed to be and just have fun with your besties and your partner. Your images will still be amazing and beautiful and will reflect what your wedding day truly was- a celebration of your love surrounded by all those that love you, regardless of the rain.

Still have questions about WHAT TO DO IF IT RAINS?! First off BREATHE, and then…

Chilliwack Golf Club Wedding | Fraser Valley Wedding Venues | Chilliwack, BC

YOUR WEDDING AT CHILLIWACK GOLF CLUB

The Chilliwack Golf Club is an amazing venue in the heart of Chilliwack, BC. It features mountain views in addition to the beautiful landscaped grounds of the golf course From the gorgeous yet simple outdoor ceremony site to the spacious Canex Pavilion that boasts not only the full coverage feel of an indoor wedding but with removable walls, it truly makes it the most unique venue of its kind in the area.

The Chilliwack Golf Club offers an all-inclusive wedding package for you and has a dedicated onsite wedding coordinator to ensure your wedding day is memorable and ensures everything runs smoothly. The staff are amazing, professional and my brides have stated that they pay attention to every detail.

One of my favourite things about this wedding venue is how it is centrally located between Chilliwack and Abbotsford. As a result, if you are wanting your wedding portraits done outside of the golf course area, there are so many nearby locations to go to.

The Secret Garden at Woodbridge Ponds Wedding | Fraser Valley Wedding Venues| Abbotsford Wedding Photographer

The Secret Garden of Woodbridge Ponds is tucked in the beautiful gardens of Ripples Winery in the heart of the Fraser Valley and is a must see wedding venue to explore when planning your dream wedding.

The Secret Garden at Woodbridge Pond

Located just east of Abbotsford this is an absolute gorgeous venue located here. Whether you are looking for an outdoor or an indoor ceremony or a little bit of both, the Secret Garden has it all. The whole space is magical, from the kissing Koi fish, the Ripples Winery tasting room, to the outdoor firepits, this is definitely one of the Fraser Valley’s Gem outdoor Wedding Venues.

The Secret Garden of Woodbridge Ponds is tucked in the beautiful gardens of Ripples Winery and their Water Garden Nursery. This gorgeous wedding venue all started off with the owners growing pond plants in their bathtub as they waited for their first green house to be built! It was recently even featured in a Hallmark movie called “Wedding Every Weekend'“ which is truly fitting for this romantic garden venue, so if you love this location as much as I do, enquire early as they book up fast.

What is it like to get married at the Secret Garden at Woodbridge Pond?

The vibe is definitely tropical jungle garden party meets elegant dinner party. The overhead chandeliers are dimmable and make for the most amazing aesthetic in the evening. The ponds through out the venue are filled with the largest koi fish I have ever seen, and last time I was there the owner even shared with me that the fish respond to a whistle, just like a dog! I never knew this was a thing, and totally questioned his sanity , until he demonstrated it! I was blown away, when you go for your tour ask them about this!

The grounds are stunning and you have full use of them during your wedding, including the gorgeous outdoor gardens, the bridge leading to the gardens, and the blueberry fields which are surrounded by mountains, it truly gives the perfect backdrop for gorgeous sunset photos.

What to do if it rains on your Wedding Day at the Secret Garden?

First off, don’t stress. This is the absolute perfect wedding venue if it rains! There are so many gorgeous areas to take photos that have amazing light- hello greenhouses- your photographers lighting dreams come true! Not only that, the indoor gardens are lush and tropical and offer tons of variety. If you are still wanting the outdoor look to your family photos,, the outdoor fire pit area is the perfect location to do your family portraits with just enough coverage so everyone doesn’t get soaked!

secret-garden-woodbridge-pond-wedding

Pro Tip: If it truly is torrentially raining on your wedding day, as it was the last time I was there, ask to use the large green house for your wedding party photos. It is a bit hard to navigate for your photographer but if they are adventurous like me they can make it work, I opted for a pair of hip waders to make my job that much more interesting!!

Of course as the saying goes… it didn’t happen unless you took a picture- which of course one of the groomsmen did! Here’s the Proof!

The Secret Garden Woodbridge Ponds offers a gorgeous outdoor space for your ceremony and a unique inside/outside reception area. If your wedding day calls for rain, the inside garden is absolutely stunning second choice for your ceremony, and there are many cozy areas for your guests to relax and mingle, including their amazing tasting room and green house area where your guests can try out some amazing local wines and spirits, as well as enjoy the covered outdoor fire pits well after dark. The dining area has dimmable chandeliers which turns this tropical oasis into an elegant and romantic reception which truly is a wedding dream.

The Secret Garden hosts guests up to 140 people and you also have the flexibility to bring in your own catering and decorating, or you can have their staff do it all. It truly is one of the most amazing venues tucked in the heart of the Fraser Valley.

Recapping the Top 5 Reasons to Book the Secret Garden at Ripples Winery (Woodbridge Pond)

  1. Gorgeous Outdoor and Indoor Wedding Ceremony spots, both options are equally stunning.

  2. Wine Tasting Room for your guests to enjoy while you are off getting your portraits done

  3. Stunning photo opportunities on the property and in the surrounding area.

  4. Reception Area is in a greenhouse itself, meaning no matter what the weather is on your wedding day, you are protected.

  5. Options! From having the staff create your vision to booking and arranging it all yourself, this wedding venue is truly customizable to make your wedding vision become a reality.

Corinna and Evan … I absolutely adore your love. The connection and support you give each other, each and every day is so inspiring. With all that 2020 gave us, gathering together on your wedding day brought so much light into such a difficult time.

Postmark Brewing and Settlement Building Wedding | Vancouver, BC Wedding Photographers | Claudia Wyler Photography

Vancouver Art Gallery First Look on Wedding Day never disappoints.

Gram met his beautiful bride Kelsey on the steps of the Vancouver Art Gallery for their first look. The architecture of the glass buildings, the Art Gallery building and the people that surrounded us has made this one of my all time favourite first look locations. It can be busy, and chaotic but if you are a go with the flow kinda couple like these two than you just embrace all the city has to offer, including the skateboarders. Their wedding party met up with us for photos after their first look and they even arranged for their dog babysitter to bring their dog aka their fur baby to see them on their wedding, which ummm, can EVERY COUPLE PLEASE DO THIS!!!! Gah, I think I am almost at the point where my giddiness for fur babies at weddings has almost surpassed my love for kids at weddings. Almost, but not quiet!

After their first look, we walked down to the Settlement building, which has the most amazing industrial charm, spouting white walls, wood beams on the ceiling and an overall ware house feel. You truly can create to your hearts content and make this space whatever you want to, your imagination is your only limitation. It was an amazing day surrounded by family and friends, and their love for Kelsey and Gram shone through with speech after speech citing what amazing people they were. I also have to thank their parents for teaching me the flash light trick as it was shortly after this wedding that I noticed that trying to read the fine print in a dimly lit area is definitely not for the over 40 crowd; every time I pull my trusty little phone flashlight it brings me right back to this wedding reception- it’s the little things right!

Your love for each other is truly amazing. Wishing you and your fur baby nothing but happiness.

Backyard Barn Wedding | Chilliwack Wedding Photographer

A small intimate Wedding Ceremony with family on a friends farm.

Langley Barn Wedding Dancing couple

Things didn’t go exactly as Katy and Dustin had planned for their big day, but none of us were expecting a pandemic when we chatted last as I took their sunrise engagement photos on a frosty November morning, that is for sure. Yet here we were on a gorgeous warm and sunny day in May, in the midst of a global pandemic, as Katy and Dustin said their vows to each other. The old hay loft at their family friends barn was absolutely perfect in so many ways and Dustin and Katy couldn’t stop smiling at each other. I had the best time playing peek a boo with Katy’s nieces, who I had previously photographed during a family session, and chit chatting with Dustin’s siblings who I also got to photograph during the summer at their sisters wedding! You will quickly understand why this whole clan is starting to feel like family to me! I think the best part of the day was the secret wedding parade their family members planned for them- they had NO IDEA! It was the most amazing parade of family and friends honking, holding signs, balloons and farm vehicles- sorry Dustin I have no idea what that massive tractor you are so in love with is called- but I am pretty sure short of actually marrying Katy, it was the favourite part of your day! In fact I have no doubt that photo is enlarged and framed somewhere in your home by now.

Katy and Dustin, I wish you both every happiness in life together and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you both.

Loft Country Wedding

Chilliwack Wedding Photographer in Langley, BC

I had the pleasure of meeting Robyn last summer when she was a bridesmaid at her best friends wedding , and then again at her brother’s wedding earlier this year and now here we are celebrating her own wedding on a gorgeous day at the Loft Country in Langley, BC. Robyn got ready at her parents home and then we headed to Loft Country for their First Look. Her wedding party all gathered around them and it was truly a beautiful moment. Some quick portraits and then off to their wedding ceremony by horse and carriage, their wedding was truly right out of a fairy tale! Ian and Robyn were surrounded by their closest family and friends on their wedding day as they celebrated their love and commitment to each other.

Make sure you have a look at Robyn’s bridal bouquet- truly one of the most AMAZING bouquets I have seen and was done by the amazing AJR Designs.

Chilliwack Wedding Photographer | Chilliwack Golf Club | Intimate All-Inclusive Wedding Venue

A gorgeous Fall Wedding at the picturesque Chilliwack Golf Club

the-falls-golf-course-wedding-venue

Not gonna lie it’s been a while since i completely sobbed at a wedding, shed a few tears for sure but whoa Matt and Sydnee didn’t have a dry eye at their intimate family wedding at the Chilliwack Golf Club this past week, including myself. I met them in the woods in Abbotsford, BC for their First Look and some quick wedding party photos with their family members and two closest friends. This group of people was as tight as they come… their forever bubble as I have coined it. After photos we headed to the Chilliwack Golf Club for their intimate wedding ceremony and celebration with their families the Fraser Valley's most spectacular outdoor wedding and banquet center; known as the Canex Pavilion. Despite having to drastically cut down their guest list many of their friends participated in a car parade at the Golf Course to give them their congratulations! So much love surrounds these two and just when I thought I was going to hold it together, the speeches began. I made it through the first few heartfelt congratulations and shared stories of these two amazing humans, and then the flood gates opened up. The whole room was a crying happy mess, as family member, after family member, stepped up to speak about how Matt and Sydnee have impacted their lives. Matt & Sydnee- you are loved. Truly and completely, not only by each other, but by each and everyone one of the people you choose to have a part of your lives.

Matt and Sydnee I am truly honoured that you trusted me to capture your love on this first day together as each others forever’s. Hope you are having an amazing time on your honey moon… here is a snippet of your amazing wedding day.

Vancouver Wedding Photographer | Downtown Urban Wedding Venue - The Permanent

A downtown Vancouver Rainy Wedding Day

In typical Vancouver, BC fashion the day started out overcast but in typical Vancouver fashion the sky opened up and let the rain come pouring down. This was their wedding day and they wanted it documented just as it was, rain and all. The Permanent was the perfect location to capture the Urban feel of this downtown Vancouver wedding ceremony.

Swaneset Bay Resort Wedding | Vancouver Photographer | Pitt Meadows, BC

Swaneset is a grand fairy tale wedding venue nestled along the coastal mountains in Pitt Meadows, BC. Whether you choose to say your vows indoors or outdoors, you will not be disappointed.

Fall Wedding at Swaneset

Swaneset is a grand fairy tale wedding venue nestled along the coastal mountains in Pitt Meadows, BC. Whether you choose to say your vows indoors or outdoors, you will not be disappointed. The floor to ceiling windows overlooking the golf course and the lush green surroundings truly make it the most picturesque location for your reception, and is one of my favourite locations for wedding photos.

Fall at Swaneset is one of my absolute favourite wedding venues to photograph outdoors, the colours are absolutely gorgeous on the garden terrace.

After H & D said their heartfelt vows in front of not only their closest friends and family, but also their sweet fur baby we drove 10 minutes down the road to take their wedding portraits with the gorgeous cascade mountain range. Afterwards, we took some quick wedding party portraits on the golf course and then headed to the back of the property for some champagne shenanigans.

When it comes to fairytale wedding venues, it’s hard to beat Swaneset Bay Resort & Country Club. The venue is almost dream like, the perfect slate for your dream wedding.
