Swaneset is a grand fairy tale wedding venue nestled along the coastal mountains in Pitt Meadows, BC. Whether you choose to say your vows indoors or outdoors, you will not be disappointed. They have indoor seating for up to 200 guests and outdoor seating for up to 350; they offer small intimate wedding packages as well. The floor to ceiling windows overlooking the golf course and the lush green surroundings truly make it the most picturesque location for your reception, and is one of my favourite locations for wedding photos.
The Ceremony Venue List
Swaneset has four stunning ceremony venues to choose from, with a breathtaking ballroom for receptions and beautiful photo locations all onsite.
Center Spotlight- is the grand ballrooms ceremony stage which can seat up to 200 guests. With the amazing sixty-foot ceilings, the most gorgeous chandeliers and the view from the floor to ceiling windows, it all sets the scene for the most sophisticated and fairy tale our ceremony takes center stage when you select the Grand Ballroom. Sixty-foot ceilings adorned with chandeliers and the view from the grand floor-to-ceiling windows, set the tone for your elegant celebration.
The Sunset Patio- is the most intimate ceremony location at Swaneset. It is located directly off of the Grand Ballroom on the third floor. The beautiful stone balcony overlooks the mountains and the scenic golf course. This is an absolute stunning location for a sunset ceremony.
3. The Main Lawn- luscious green lawns and blue skies surround you while you say your vows during your outdoor ceremony on the Main Lawn. With the stunning Clubhouse and Coastal Mountains as your backdrop, this is the perfect choice for your wedding ceremony.
4. Garden Birch Terrace- this stunning ceremony location is one of my favourites. The views cannot be beat with the coastal mountains, the views of the golf course, and the gorgeous florals and trees surrounding you,. One of my absolute favourite parts is the grand aisle walk down from the majestic clubhouse to the terrace.
If you are a lover of the mountains like I am sure you will gasp in awe at the breathtaking mountain views just 5 minutes down the road from this venue. It is a favourite by far for so many.
If you chose to stay on the grounds they are stunning as well and provide so many different options. From the golf course walkways, to the tree lined drive up to the golf course to the cement stair wells, all are beautiful.
When it comes to fairytale wedding venues, it’s hard to beat Swaneset Bay Resort & Country Club. The reception venue is almost dream like, the perfect slate for your dream wedding reception.
Swaneset Bay Resort hosts only one wedding at a time so it’s just you and your guests celebrating in private. Their on-site wedding specialist, Holly, is available to help you out with every single detail of your wedding. She’s even rescued me on one occasion when I forgot my batteries plugged in the wall after a long wedding!

I won’t get up before sunrise for just anyone… but if it’s to capture your love story, you bet I will. I met Katy and Dustin for their gorgeous Chilliwack Lake Engagement session just before the sun came up and I’m not gonna lie it was cold, really cold but Katy & Dustin were troopers.
We spent some time chatting and exploring Chilliwack Lake before we headed down the road to do some ‘bush wacking’ as I was taught to call it as a young child. Dustin was in his element but Katy wasn’t phazed by it either as she showed us she most definitly could climb the morning dew mountain side in a dress!.

Fall Wedding at Swaneset
Swaneset is a grand fairy tale wedding venue nestled along the coastal mountains in Pitt Meadows, BC. Whether you choose to say your vows indoors or outdoors, you will not be disappointed. The floor to ceiling windows overlooking the golf course and the lush green surroundings truly make it the most picturesque location for your reception, and is one of my favourite locations for wedding photos.
Fall at Swaneset is one of my absolute favourite wedding venues to photograph outdoors, the colours are absolutely gorgeous on the garden terrace.
After H & D said their heartfelt vows in front of not only their closest friends and family, but also their sweet fur baby we drove 10 minutes down the road to take their wedding portraits with the gorgeous cascade mountain range. Afterwards, we took some quick wedding party portraits on the golf course and then headed to the back of the property for some champagne shenanigans.

The Falls Golf Club is gorgeous in itself, but the breath taking views of the Fraser Valley at sunset really cannot be beat!
I adore this little venue. Whether you choose to have an outdoor ceremony on the front lawn or the indoor setting- they are both perfect. The wedding coordinator on staff is phenomenal and my experience is that they go above and beyond to ensure your wedding day is exactly how you envisioned it.
Kandice and Tyler’s wedding was no exception. We had such amazing weather and it truly made me fall in love with Fall weddings all over again. As you all know I adore children, especially at weddings, and their children were no exception! Their toddler stole the show for most of the day, including ALL the golf balls all day long!
The Falls Golf Club is gorgeous in itself, but the breath taking views of the Fraser Valley at sunset really cannot be beat and with Kandice and Tyler’s wedding running late due to an accident on the highway delaying their ceremony we were able to capture the amazing Fall sunset as part of their wedding portrait time.
